  2. These two WPWIN 5.2 macros allow for an easy and
  3. convenient managing of the save and retrieval procedure of
  4. up to the full nine document windows in WordPerfect. 
  5. LOGFILES saves and closes all documents, storing their
  6. names in WPWP.INI. Before saving them it inserts a double-
  7. comment code to mark the position of the cursor. RESUME
  8. then retrieves the documents, deleting the marking codes.
  9. So you can save and retrieve you favorite configuration
  10. all at once, and it is not limited to four documents (as
  11. the "last opened" section in the File menu). You don't
  12. have to scroll through the document, either, to find the
  13. position you left off. Especially recommended for
  14. multiple-document writing maniacs.
  15. Store them on a button bar, or in the Macro Menu list.

  17. Moreover, slightly advanced users might want to manipulate
  18. the WPWP.INI file themselves. For them here are the
  19. details: The files are logged under the header [log-
  20. resume]. They are called Doc<n>, where <n> is a number
  21. from 1 to 9. The NumberOfFiles index is used by RESUME to
  22. determine how many files are to be retrieved; it is the
  23. result of the last LOGging operation. Although the docs'
  24. "<n>" may range up to 9, if the NumberOfFiles is 6, only
  25. the first six will be retrieved. Now you manipulate.

  27. Future: In two years maybe, when everybody will have their
  28. Pentium CPU and speed will not be a problem anymore, we'll
  29. let you decide in a dialog box what files and how many you
  30. want to retrieve.
